OVERVIEW

CLA ARCHITECTURE seeks a full-time structural engineer with proven experience in project delivery. We are a small architectural firm that is growing and focusing on local design/build projects. There are great opportunities with this firm for professional growth and experience. All employees are part of the team to manage the operations of the firm.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage a project with oversight from the proposal phase to construction administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This team member is responsible for:

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates

• Perform construction-related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections

• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, other designers, and building contractors on the design and construction of projects

• documentation content and quality

• actively participate great team performance and company growth

• provide support to the team, and advocate for the team in terms of resource allocation, schedule, technology, client relations, and other needs

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable with some direction and a variety of project management

SALARY

$85,000 - $110,000 annual

SCHEDULE

• Typical 40 hr work week (8 AM - 5 PM) with flexibility of exact in-office hours.

• Monday to Friday

• Occasional evening & weekend commitments if the job position dictates the need

• Temporary remote work or commute could be considered with an employer-provided relocation package.

EXPERIENCE

• Revit, ArchiCAD, ArchiCAD or similar: 3 years (required)

• CD production: 5 years (required)

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

• Professional Engineer (PE - Structural) License in the U.S. (required)

• Must be able to achieve a PE license in Wyoming within 6 months of start of employment
